AM water content analyser
AURAMARINE WATER CONTENT ANALYSER TO MEASURE WATER IN METHANOL
Water is a natural contaminant in bunkering. In the case of methanol, it occurs also as part of production process. Water concentration in fuel is inconvenient or harmful when the concentration is higher than specified.
The presence of water in methanol reduces its energy content, leading to higher bunkering expenses. If the water content is too high, operators may have to unload the fuel, leading to delays and additional costs. If water concentration is not measured early enough, it might be difficult to provide evidence of wrong bunker water later on.
The AM water content analyser measures and reports the concentration of water in methanol and helps ship operators to take preventative actions early enough. Analysing water concentration minimises associated risks and costs.
HOW TO GET STARTED?
Sensor installation will be done to main bunker line. Safe installation requires the provision of flanged housing. Auramarine experts will guide you in correct installation. Installation itself takes maximum one day when done during regular maintenance operations.
EASY ACCESS TO MEASUREMENT DATA
Measurement data is available on your system's HMI screen on the safe area electrical cabinet and it is also further readable through bus. You can also adjust alarms for water content for your HMI screen and elsewhere through bus.
